Our client is a small accountancy firm based in central Bath seeking to recruit a tax consultant. Duties involve:\n\nMain responsibilities\n\nThe main responsibilities will include:\n\n? The management of and advising clients directly on high level tax consultancy projects\n\n? Assist with the supporting and training of junior staff\n\n? Accountable for your own project completion, billing and cash collection\n\nRegular tasks\n\nSome of the regular tasks that will be undertaken are as follows:\n\n? Tax Consulting work - EIS, EMI, Corporate finance transaction advice, non-dom planning, inventing new solutions, corporate restructures, general entrepreneurial tax planning\n\n? Training Junior Staff\n\n? Practice Management ? Manage own work, Billing and Cash collection\n\nOccasional tasks\n\nSuccessful candidates must be able to find and build their own relationships with potential business introducers and must have the ability to produce winning proposals and close sales\n\nThere will be a need for regular travel to London (chauffeured) and other client locations for meetings. Although based in Bath there are also London offices\n\nReporting lines and team responsibilities\n\nCandidates will report directly to the Managing Director\n\nPart of the responsibilities within the team would be to support junior members of the team and to work as a ?team? member\n\nTraining and promotions opportunities\n\nOn the job training will be provided in full as and when required\n\nThere will be no limit to the level of promotion\n\nPerson specification\n\nTechnical skills\n\nCTA / ACA Qualified\n\nTechnical knowledge\n\nCandidates will have excellent grounding in one of the Accountancy ?Big Four? and must be passionate about tax\n\nPersonal skills\n\n?
